petrol produces 203bhp making
it the most powerful petrol
engine in its segment. The
2.2 litre mHawk diesel produces
185bhp with up to 450Nm of

performance. Both are available
with manual and automatic
gearboxes with the diesel
automatic also offering all
wheel drive on higher variants.
Safety
The XUV 7XO comes with 7
airbags on higher variants
along with a comprehensive

Honest Assessment
The XUV 7XO is not without
compromises. The petrol
automatic delivers poor city
fuel efficiency of 7 to 9
kmpl. The third row remains
cramped for adults. The
touch based climate control
can be distracting while
driving. These are the same
criticisms that existed with
the XUV700.
But for the price the XUV 7XO
offers technology and features
that simply cannot be matched
by any rival. The triple

engine at ₹14 lakh is
